Educational World Travel (EWT) has been providing Educational Travel Programs for schools in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland since 1988.
EWT specialises in school group tours to the United States, China, Turkey, Egypt and Europe and offers students, teaching staff and adults the opportunity to travel, as a group, during the school holidays. EWT provides all resource material to inform the prospective travellers of the opportunity to join our Educational Travel Programs. We specifically cater to cultural, educational and music tours.
EWT sends over 1800 travellers per year to America on just one of our fully organised Programs. With all our years of experience in the organisation and planning of the G'day USA tours, together with our close working relationship with the Australian and American schools participating, we are proud to be the largest short term Exchange Program in Australia.
One of the main benefits of our Educational Travel Programs is that the parents of students travelling, their brothers or sisters, teaching staff (other than the Group Leader) and other adults are able to participate on most of the Tours.
Educational Travel Programs, as with any international travel, are invaluable in providing students with a greater sense of responsibility, self reliance and self esteem. Travellers return with an increased awareness of the importance of working cohesively in a team environment, together with greater understanding and tolerance of people from different cultures.
Our Head Office is based in Melbourne Australia with regional offices and representation in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
EWT is a member of the Travel Compensation Fund, SYTA (Student and Youth Travel Association), ATEC, IATA, AFTA and the Destinations Network.
We also have offices in Tacoma, Washington State in the United States of America together with an office in Shanghai in the Peoples Republic of China.
